Lessans Livery Yard and Riding Stables

PLEASE NOTE: All enquiries about livery availability, prices or service must be directed to our proprietor Philippa Auret on t: 07808923894 - new livery queries will not be answered via facebook.

Lessans is one of only two British Horse Society-accredited Highly Commended livery yards in Co. Down. This means that you can expect a premium livery service that is inspected annually and puts the needs of you and your horse or pony at the fore. We offer a five-star flexible livery service that can be individually tailored to your budget and requirements.

To our very competitive basic charges, extras can be added according to the needs of the individual client, including feed, bedding, mucking out, exercising, schooling, clipping, farrier, etc. A full price and service list is available on request from the yard. Please phone to enquire and arrange a visit.

Our livery yard is suitable for all ages, levels and abilities, from novices, family ponies, leisure riders and improvers to top-level competition riders, and from tiny kids to pensioners!

New stables

Stables are spacious and airy, many within a barn-style setting; and the yard has a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Liveries have full use of facilities including a spacious indoor arena, two outdoor floodlit sand arenas, show jumps, Working Hunter fences and an extensive cross-country course, a hot water wash bay and solarium, all-weather and grass turnout, and even a cafe.

Lessans Liveries can also make use of picturesque hacking on lanes and quiet country roads, and are very welcome to take part in weekly livery lessons, as well as the wide variety of competitions, teaching clinics and social events that run throughout the year. Importantly, there is 24-hour experienced supervision on-site, so you can be sure as an owner that, should an issue arise with your horse or pony, help will be at hand.

If you would like to stable your horse at Lessans, or wish to arrange a viewing, please contact us by phone or in person to enquire about vacancies - we will be happy to help.
